The Asterisk port to IPv6 project
This wiki is the home of the project whose aim is to port Asterisk to IPv6. Or, rather, to make Asterisk version-independent. The port is maintained by Viagénie.

Latest asterisk-v6 snapshot: asteriskv6-20080107.tar.bz2. This is synchronized to Digium's trunk.
Known-to-work snapshot: asteriskv6-20070409.tar.bz2. Based on the 1.4 branch.

- Known issues:
- only SIP (and the relevant auxiliary libs: rtp, netsock,...) is ported to IPv6. IAX, h323, etc... are not yet ported to ipv6.
- Known VoIPv6 clients:
Most Snom phones support IPv6.
